Matter of perception, the greatest bug!

Its very interesting when 2 people looking at same picture/situation , have 2 different opinions of what they see.
We see things, through a lens of filters, a subconscious filter that is developed since we were young.
Recently, I was just parking my car after a car park hunt. As I was heading to the bank , I saw a relatively young healthy couple getting out from a car that just parked as well. They seemed to be heading towards a clinic right opposite me....I turned to get a better view of them and just then the girl, yea, she should be in her late teens or early 20's...looked at me as well while taking quite small steps up the steps to the clinic.
After that glance exchange, I don't know why I had this thought, but it just hit me,"blink"! at the very moment as I was walking away...'She must be either getting a pregnancy test or planning for an abortion"
A flawed perception, I would never know, just wondered also of what she would have been thinking when she glanced at me. What would have been her thoughts?
Interesting moment....perceive, assume and derive an opinion.... a recipe for disaster if the perception was flawed from the very beginning...I just painted a negative picture of the couple by my mere perception.
How many of us , do this day in, day out. Keeping record of some of our perception, that eventually form part of our filters and be ingrained into us.
The couple might just going in to get some flu medication that has been keeping the guy awake for the past 2 days, with his final exams looming around the corner...

I will never know....the simpler way is to assume innocence but with a dose of caution.
