Philosophical thots!

Had this peculiar philosophical brainwave, sought a doctor's view on this... (still waiting for the reply) anyway here it goes; Is sickness the result of the absence of wellness, same like misery the result of the absence of happiness, pain the result of absence of joy, darkness , the result of absence of light.

Good , the absence of evil......hmmm then, would you not think than that we need sickness, to appreciate wellness , pain to appreciate joy, darkness to appreciate light, evil to appreciate good.

So the question is aren't both equal then, good and evil, darkness and light, sickness and wellness, something to ponder upon on this lovely day....with the absence of a dull, rainy, cloudy,dull day:-)
