My OZ trip'08_Day1_ Adventure Begins
I'm guilty as charged, for I've sinned yet again for not being prompt with my postings...which is one of my resolutions for the year...Anyway, lets hop back where I had hopped off from my little adventure down under...

Its the first sight that caught my weary and hungry eyes when I stepped out of my 5 star nest overlooking the world renowned Sydney Harbour.
Bright and cheery, warm and welcoming....a good antidote for the jet lag and an appetiser for the day.
With my stomach growls, figured it was time for a meal, so the hunt began. An alien in a new city, looking for a decent meal.

Well, first stop was a sort of flea market or in Malaysia "pasar malam/pasar pagi" at the "Rock"...It seems the "Rock" comes alive with this flea market every Sunday to cater for the some enterprising souls and gullible foreigners like me....nice atmosphere, even had a street artist whom politely told everyone not to take any photo's.....this guy used spray cans to make unbelievable paintings....damn should have sneaked a shot. Well, was in my good behaviour...for the moment and yet I was still hungry...

The hunt began, after paying homage to the "Settlers" ...supposed to be the memorial for the first brave settlers from the civilised world to come down under to begin a new life among all the bloody pirates and prisoners not forgetting the gentle aborigines....
Finally, found a decent joint...a German sausage restaurant....and it was Octoberfest!!
